Graduation is almost here

I can't believe my baby is almost finished with high school. It seems like yesterday she was playing with Barbies. I've had to learn very quickly that Em is her own woman now. She's smart, beautiful and I'm sure she'll make her mark on this world.

I'm so proud!

Prom 08

Prom night started off great but by the time dinner was over it was raining cats and dogs. So much for the hair.

It has been mad crazy here! I've been working a lot more hours since the my company was sold. I am no longer with Alcoa. I know work for Reynolds Packaging Group. I was really hoping they would move us back to Indiana but no such luck. Bummer! I really miss everyone there. Prom was hard without my best bud Karen.
I've made a couple of new first here Sarah and Marsh, whom I work with.
Sarah just had her third baby (John Paul) YES I said John Paul - I am not kidding.
Marsh has been a life saver with Lisa. She helped us alter her prom dress on short notice. Because ofcourse, Lisa didn't even decided she was going to go to Prom until the last couple of weeks before Prom.
I'll put some more pictures up soon. I'll also try and update my page more often.

WOW - It was 72 degrees today.

I know it's been awhile since I've updated my blog.
The kids have been doing great. Kelly has been taking private tumbling lessons getting ready for next years cheer try outs. Lisa has been working her butt off at her part time job. She is feeling better after being in the hospital for her migraines. Emily's been going to modeling auditions and has been asked by the photographer that did her head shots to be his model for a photo contest he is entering.

I've had to do some more traveling for work and have been very busy since our company has been sold.

Curt's had a few interviews but nothing good so far. He likes what he does but you know.. Got a always look for that bigger pay check.

We now have two new additions to the family:
Tucker and Pricess Feefee. (little kitties)
Cucu and Smochy took a while to warm up to them but now we are one big happy family.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Update on the Phares/Bennett Home

WOW Thanksgiving is almost here and yes Lowell is here for yet another holiday. Chris is coming down too on Thanksgiving Day and staying for a few days. Another month has gone by and so much to catch you up on.
Where to start????
Kelly's competition cheer team when to State. The placed 13th out of 18. They looked great but the competition was very good. They’ll get them next year! Way to go TD Knight!
Emily has her modeling graduation and was scouted by an agency from Baltimore. She was asked to go to Baltimore and audition for the Baltimore Fashion week. We did that and she is now on the second around of cuts. I am so happy her. She looked amazing and the agency thought so too.
Lisa was promoted to shift leader at her job after only being there a couple of month. How cool is that! I am so proud of her. She really seems to like the extra responsibility and her boss has nothing but great things to say about her.
Curt has been working more hours and may have to start traveling. He has been such a trooper going to Kel's cheer competition and games. He makes a good cheerleading Dad.
Me... Nothing much new here. I work, work and work more. Still finding time to take the kids to all their actives.

Well hell! You get busy and forget. What Can I say?

Just so I can spear you all more bad pictures I guess I can give an update. It's 1:00 am and I can't sleep. I have been up to the same old shit just a different day. Get up, go to work, come home, fix dinner (if I feel like it) and watch a little TV or at least DVR my shows so that at some point I can watch them. Curt had an interview a couple of weeks ago but that didn't pan out like we would have wanted it to. Em and Lisa got their first pay check (It's about time)! All Kel does is cheer, cheer and more cheer. Her team has its first completion this Saturday. Go Knights! I am really excited for her. Luckily Em and Lis will be off work in the afternoon so they will get to go too. It's really weird around here with them working and not getting home until after 8. Lisa just got her drivers licenses and is driving all around. She loves it. I on the other hand am scared out of my wits. But she is a good drive.

What's Up:

  • Kelly just celebrated her 15th B-day - Her boyfriend came over with a couple of other friends

  • Lisa just celebrated her 17th B-day - Went shopping

  • I once again leave on a business trip to IL next week.

This time I will only be gone for three days. Manteno, IL. It's so close to Indy I wish I had time to stop in and say hey to everyone but this is just a three day trip. However, Karen if you are up for a drive my plane doesn't leave until Friday at 4 if you want to meet me in Chicago.

Hijacked!

Laura's blog has been hijacked by a "friend" that wanted to see something new in this space!!! She hopes you are all doing well and would love to hear from you in her comments!! He! He! He!
Laura - - - the pictures will just get goofier and goofier if you don't start posting soon!!! Don't make me use them!!! :)

I am back from my trip to Canada. It has been a very long week. I was in Toronto Monday and Tuesday then caught a plane to Montreal Wednesday and finally getting back home Friday around midnight. Besides from the trips to the business plants we were able to see downtown Toronto and Montreal. I found the subway system in both cities wonderful. I really wish Richmond had a system like that. I would defiantly use public transportation if it was here. I took some picture but I have to finish up the roll before posting them. I had forgotten the digital camera so I had to pick a disposable one. It looks like Curt and the girls did just fine with me gone. Kelly had another game Wednesday the they Won again. The JV team at Thomas Dale is really good. Em sounds like she is starting to get a cold. Lisa seems to really like her new cosmetology class. See the picture of me helping with here homework.

Hope the video works!

Why have I not been posting these days...

  • Let's Start with Monday, Tuesday.. Work was so busy I barely had enough time to go to the bathroom. I like to stay busy but not that busy.

  • Let's see Kelly's first game was then Wednesday. They WON!!! It was Thomas Dale against Manchester.. Don't remember the score but we won by a landslide.

  • Thursday Started out with running Kel to Freshman orientation, Then running home to take Lisa to her Tech Center orientation. I was then back at home working from noon to 5. Taking short breaks to pick Kel up from school long enough for her to get home clean up, me work again and then take her back to school. Then I finally stopped working and went to the school to help at the first Varsity game I ran the spirit table selling TD stuff. That was fun but I didn't get home until after 10.

WHAT A DAY THAT WAS!! (All while I was sick)

  • Now today, still very busy at work. Even had to do stuff tonight and will again tomorrow.

First Game

Lazy Day

The company is gone now.... The house is a little quieter here and a lot more messy. We didn't do much this weekend. Except, Curt and I went to listen to this 90 min speal on time shares. We only did it for the free round trip plane tickets and lugage. The tickets are cool but the lugage is cheap. The only catch is we have to give 60 days advanced notice to where we want to go. Now we just have to figure that out. So here is what I am thinking. We could all do a couples long weekend in Vagas... Anyone up for that? That's about all for today.

So where are my comment??

Our Trip to DC was fun. It was kind of sad Kel couldn't make the trip with us. She had cheerleading again.... :(

As you can see Curt and I were
having a moment. Walking along
side the Reflection Pool.
